Is it just me, or is writing a bio one of the most challenging tasks ever?!

Honestly, I’m not sure what’s more complicated- Attempting to write one for your LinkedIn, Instagram, online dating profile LOL, blog, WHATEVER! Either way..here we are.

WELCOME!

I’m a thirty something Events & Marketing professional living in the DMV area. PRE-COVID, I could be found attending various events throughout the week, socializing with friends, or possibly making an effort to cook or trying a new workout (on a good day LOL).

As someone who has worked very closely with the concierge and hospitality community in the D.C. area, there was a time where it was MY FULL TIME JOB to know what was going on in the city. I love a good project, and since I’m always being asked “What’s going on in D.C?.” or “What is there to do?” by my peers, I figured aside from Instagram (@glamourena, btw), I’d put all of this in one place, as well as a few other things I’m into.

Now that we’re in the house a little more than usual, I’ve made it part of my regular self-care routine to treat myself to two of my favorite things - a bottle of Rosé and flowers at least once every 2-3 weeks…Mainly because, I deserve it LOL. In doing so, I found that I absolutely love creating budget friendly floral arrangements for my home, and inspiring others to do the same. Buying flowers are such a small treat, but they bring so much beauty and happiness to my little world, allowing me to express my creativity through my love of flowers.

BY NO MEANS am I a florist or professional floral designer, but I love helping others with their next arrangement! I hear so many people saying they don’t know where to start when creating an arrangement, so it’s my hope you find inspo for your next arrangement here :)
